Hospital Preparedness Program

The Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) is a cooperative agreement program administered by the Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR). The only source of federal funding for health care system preparedness and response, and it promotes a consistent national focus to improve patient outcomes during emergencies and enable rapid health system recovery.
 
HPP cooperative agreements are comprised of five-year project periods. The current project period started July 2019 and will end June 2024.
