Primary Care Emergency Management Program (PCEMP)

Program Description:

New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene launches a new program to provide Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) with free CMS Final Emergency Preparedness Rule Technical Assistance (TA). The new Primary Care Emergency Management Program is designed to assist NYC’s FQHCs with developing their emergency management capabilities in the four areas outlined by the CMS EP final rule, which are:

  • risk assessment
  • policies and procedures based on the plan
  • communication plan compliant with Federal and State law
  • training and testing (exercise) programs
